NCMHTD - Google Earth

• Google Earth Application

Google Earth Enterprise provides a viewer a both 3d (via thick client) and 2d (via the web) viewer for visualizing large datasets such a statewide imagery, terrain, flood zones, and property parcels.  The thick client, Google Earth Enterprise Client, offers  rich 3d visualization of the State of North Carolina.  It can be extended for custom searches and can work with KMLs.  The web application (Google Maps) offers high speed viewing and interaction with large datasets.  Google Maps will be incorporated as backgrounds in use with other web based applications.
